Health & Safety - Emergency Procedures

What to Do:

If fire alarms go off, take your personal belongs and quickly evacuate the building. Go to the Emergency Assembly Point (EAP) that has been designated for your building.   Your building webpage should have a photograph detailing the specific location of the EAP site for your building.

Check in with designated emergency personnel at the EAP so we can account for everyone to make sure no one is missing or remains inside the building.

Do not return to the building for any reason until it has been declared safe to do so by emergency officials (e.g., firemen, designated staff).

Be sure your contact information is current. If you have recently moved, or changed your phone number, please update your contact information on Stanford. You and let your department administrator know.

Always keep your badge with you. Not only does it identify you as a Stanford employee, but the accompanying emergency card contains important information you may need.
